This is a Fine Art Archival Pigment Print on Acid-Free Fine Art Paper. It is a one-off print - I wanted to see how it would print from a Cruse Scan. The detail is incredible.
The original artwork is a journey;
The first drawings that went into this piece originated from a life drawing session. Blind unfavoured hand. Many many drawings. I selected the ones to use and digitised them and played around with composition printed it out and transferred them onto a hard ground copper plate.
This I turned into an edition of etchings that was a huge success. I then digitised this print and exposed it onto a silkscreen and added layers of drawings through silk-screen printing. This piece has four layers of silkscreen prints. THEN I sent this to the Copper House Gallery in Dublin to be scanned on their Cruse Scanner. The digital version is perfect. And this print is beautiful. The paper is Hahnemuhle Cotton Rag Fine Art Paper.
