I lost my Grandparents while I was in art college. I was privileged to have been able to have them live out their final days at home surrounded by loved ones. All through palliative care. It was a tough journey but I wouldn’t have changed it for anything. It was a blessing and I will cherish them forever.

It definitely had an effect on the subjects and topics I chose to study while in College. Lot’s of grief and loss and exploring how other arts dealt with this. My thesis was on memory.

This piece is a result of that study and research.
