The World of Dreams was inspired by the sun rising over the Irish Sea in Brittas Bay, Co. Wicklow in Ireland. Abstract art painting in pink and blue. Put this painting in your home and enjoy abstract art at all times. If you're wanting to redo your home and add a fresh flair for a new season we think abstract art is a perfect choice! Abstract art is an art that does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality but instead use shapes, colours, forms and gestural marks to achieve its effect. I use WINSOR & NEWTON ARTISTS ACRYLICS Artists' Acrylic. It is an excellent quality 'Artists-Grade' acrylic range and a breakthrough in acrylic colour technology. Combining world-beating colour making experience with the latest developments in resin technology they have taken 'acrylics' to a new level. The colours are brilliant when wet and remain bright when dry - so what you see is what you get. Pastels or pastel colours belong to a pale family of colours, which, when described in the HSV colour space, have high value and low saturation. The name comes from pastels, art media characteristic of this colour family. The colours of this family are usually described as "soothing". Pastels are less saturated than primary colours, making them feel light, soft, and calming. On a traditional painter’s wheel, pastel colours are not normally present, being tints rather than primary, secondary, or tertiary colours. On more detailed or contemporary colour wheels, pastels are shown as tints of brighter colours, towards the centre or outer edge of the wheel. A pastel colour can refer to a pale tint of almost any primary or secondary colour, including, but not limited to, red, yellow, blue, green, red, purple, and orange.
